WHAT IS YOUR DREAM JOB TO START YOUR CAREER WITH?
Roto and Prep Artist.
DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN FIVE WORDS OR LESS.
Diligent, Passionate, Organised, Reliable, Patient.
WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?
I have a variety of hobbies. I enjoy cooking and trying new dishes which Covid-19 has given me a chance to do more. Spending time with my friends. Walking my dog, spending time with her and my other pets when I get the chance to go home.
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN FIVE YEARS?
In 5 years time, I'd like to be working as a mid to senior-level compositor in a large studio after working my way up through the ranks. I’d also like to be living in London or just outside and saving to put a deposit down on a house.
DESCRIBE A CHALLENGE THAT YOU HAD TO OVERCOME IN YOUR GROUP PROJECTS.
In one of the group projects I worked on at Escape, I received shadow matte passes that were incorrect and didn’t have time to re-render, because of this I had to recreate the shadows inside of Nuke which proved difficult but was a fun challenge to overcome.
WOULD YOU RATHER BE A WIZARD, JEDI OR SUPERHERO? AND WHY?
Of the three I would rather be a Wizard because of the wide variety of spells available, the methods of transport - broomsticks and disapparition - and also the magical creatures that exist in the wizarding world - Dragons, Thunderbirds and such.
WHICH MOVIE INSPIDERED YOU THE MOST TO CHOOSE THIS CAREER PATH?
If I had to choose I would say, Doctor Strange because of the incredible world bending sequences and the consistently amazing VFX throughout.
WHY DO YOU DESERVE A GREATER SHARE OF SPACE IN THE YEAR BOOK?
I deserve a greater share of space in the yearbook so that I can have a picture with my friends who joined me in my 3 years of university rather than being separated more than we already are because of Covid-19.
