WHAT IS YOUR DREAM JOB TO START YOUR CAREER WITH?

I would like to be a Junior Animator in a team where everyone pushes themselves and those around them to improve. A job that not only develops me as an animator but also as an individual, continuously giving me a deeper insight into the industry that I'm working in.

DESCRIBE YOURSELF IN FIVE WORDS OR LESS.

Team player, Friendly, Driven, Open-minded and Humble.

WHAT'S YOUR HOBBY?

I have taught myself to play guitar, piano and the banjo. Writing songs is something I love to do in my downtime.

WHAT ARE YOUR BIGGEST STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES?

Strength is communication one-on-one. A weakness would be public speaking.

DESCRIBE A CHALLENGE THAT YOU HAD TO OVERCOME IN YOUR GROUP PROJECTS.

As a Lead Animator I had to help get team members more engaged in the project. I did this by giving people more responsibilities. This caused them to step up their game and help out, with a new sense of purpose.

WHAT YOU RATHER BE A WIZARD. JEDI OR SUPERHERO? AND WHY?

I would rather be a Jedi, because they are the ones from the list who are not working alone. They belong to a greater good and study/train with their friends.

WHICH ANIMATION MOVIE INSPIRED YOU THE MOST TO CHOOSE THIS CAREER PATH?

Honestly, it was Finding Nemo, which doesn't make much sense because I want to work on VFX animation. But I loved the music and tone of that film, also the way it's an entire cast of different sea creatures (and birds) showed great animation skill.

WHY DO YOU DESERVE A GREATER SHARE OF SPACE IN THE YEARBOOK?

Because I have probably improved the most (genuinely started knowing absolutely nothing) during my time at Escape Studios. Also I was Lead Animator on both of the projects this year.
