DANIEL RAE

LOTTER

Third year student at Escape Studios in London studying 3D Computer Animation. As a keen artist I spend a lot of time enhancing my portfolio of work. This includes gesture drawings, animation tests and my knowledge of the animation pipeline. I was the lead animator for the short film ‘Offcut’ which won best animation in the Dirigo Film Festival. In addition, I go to the cinema on a regular basis to watch the latest films, as I love seeing what is currently being produced in the industry. I am interested in character animation and have experience with creature animation. I am eager to learn from fellow peers in the industry, developing my skills, and am excited to see what I produce in the future.

WHY DO YOU DESERVE A GREATER SHARE OF SPACE IN THE YEARBOOK?

I believe I have shown my ability in the projects I have worked on and deserve a space. However, I think i should get an equal space as I have had a lot of help from peers to get to where I am and to have produced the work I have created. Even though I have pushed myself to get where I am, and may have worked harder than others, I still think my work can be improved.
