I'm a graduate designer and writer, available for full-time work. Last year, I interned at Ustwo Games on the mobile title, Assemble with Care, and received my first games credit! My portfolio covers a spectrum of projects across level design, games production, and print design. I've also freelance written for The Guardian and GamesRadar. Because of my broad portfolio and experience, I’m open to applying for graduate or junior roles in production, marketing, QA or design. Outside of games, I love to sail and kayak, and in my down time, I’m teaching myself Chinese and watching a lot of Bon Appetit.

WHAT IS YOUR DREAM JOB TO START YOUR CAREER WITH?
I'd like to enter the games industry as a Junior Level Designer, QA Tech or Producer, and work my way up to my dream role - a Narrative Designer.
WHAT'S YOUR HOBBY?
I love to cook; I collect second hand cookbooks from a shop off Portobello Road, and I love to prepare the new recipes or make up my own. Other hobbies include: learning the keyboard, writing stories, playing Professor Layton for the billionth time, and painting (albeit badly!)
IF YOU WERE AN ANIMAL, WHICH ONE WOULD YOU BE? AND WHY?
Either, some kind of fish that can survive at the bottom of the Mariana Trench, because I’d love to do a James Cameron and explore it one day, or a bird in the Amazon, so I can have the freedom to fly around the rainforest and soar above the treetops.
DESCRIBE YOUR DREAM JOB.
A games writer at Naughty Dog, like Halley Gross, would be The Dream Job. However, I’m interested in exploring an array of games roles across my career. Post graduation, a Junior Level Designer job would be perfect, and later, work up to a Narrative Designer/Games Writer role.
TELL US AN ACHIEVEMENT YOU'RE PROUD OF.
I’m proud of my internship at Ustwo Games last summer, working a placement at BAFTA Games, and writing my article for The Guardian about low income gamers. On my degree, I love that I went from a rocky start due to extenuating circumstances, to ultimately directing a masters project.
WHICH MOVIE/GAME INSPIRED YOU THE MOST TO CHOOSE THIS CAREER PATH?
In 2013, I stumbled across a playthrough of The Last of Us on YouTube and fell in love with the story. I hadn’t heard of next gen games before; I come from a working class, low income background. My single mom didn’t know about games, so neither did I.
WHAT VIDEO GAME CHARACTER BEST EMBODIES YOU?
He doesn’t embody me, but I certainly strive to have the wit, confidence and intelligence of Professor Layton from the eponymous franchise. A lot of my curiosity and ability to puzzle solve day-to-day problems, blossomed from playing those games repeatedly.
WHY DO YOU DESERVE A GREATER SHARE OF SPACE IN
THE YEAR BOOK?
Started from the bottom and now I’m here. Unfortunate circumstances pushed me back in first year - but I built up my skills, network, and confidence again. To have completed a Masters and be where I am now took a lot of strength. I’m proud of myself for getting this far.
