WHAT IS YOUR DREAM JOB TO START YOUR CAREER WITH?

My dream job to start my career with would be a junior 3D Generalist role as I would be able to work in various departments such as modelling, texturing, lighting etc which would help me to strengthen my skills in those departments, this would also help me to understand the workflows in industry before levelling up into more senior roles in the future.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?

I love travelling and exploring places I have never been before. I also like to paint and draw in my spare time.

WHAT MAKES YOU UNIQUE?

I have had the honour of directing a short film in thirteen weeks with a team of 2D and 3D artists, we went through the challenges of working under lockdown during the global pandemic but still delivered the project to standard which is an achievement for me. I feel that this has given me the experience to work in a team as well as the confidence to be open about creative ideas which I think is vital when beginning my career in industry.

IF YOU WERE AN ANIMAL, WHICH ONE WOULD YOU BE? AND WHY?

I guess I would want to be a bird so that I can fly.

I would take my phone, water and my camera so that I can capture nice landscapes as well as staying hydrated and being able to contact people.

WHAT ARE YOUR BIGGEST STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES?

My strengths I would say is that is that I have a strong skill in sculpting in ZBrush. My weakness I would say is knowledge because in industry things are changing and evolving and you have to keep up to date and have the knowledge to learn new things which I am still trying to do.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN FIVE YEARS TIME?

Ideally, I hope to be working as a creature/character artist who has moved up from the past junior/generalist roles. I hope to have gained a lot of experience in the industry working on projects. I hope to have expanded my knowledge in the industry by working on a vast majority of film/tv projects that challenge my skills and allow me to explore in different mediums by understanding the different artistic styles and approach to the industry projects. I hope to have gained a network of contacts as well as friends and colleagues in industry so that I will be able to expand on my skills on different film/tv projects over time.
