I am an FX / Environment Artist, with my primary discipline being Houdini FX. I am passionate about the visual arts and both the technical and creative processes that are involved with any project. My career path is primarily in film, however as of recently, I've also been considering freelancing, TV and Game Cinematics.

My hobbies and interests are primarily circulated around visual effects and visual arts, whether it be developing my skills and using various other mediums. Additionally, I enjoy video games and learning about the philosophy and psychology of life.

What makes you unique?

I think what makes me unique is that I try to be intuitive when it comes to my work and try to be as creative as possible, learning or trying to create new methods and approaches to solving problems / creating solutions. On the other hand, I also believe that logic as well as careful observation of whatever is at hand is important. Paired together it enables me to adapt to the environment that I am in, or the projects I work on quickly and be efficient.

The job that would excite me the most would be as a Junior FX Artist. Even with great ambition to become a Senior TD, or potentially to start my own creative studio not just limited to VFX, I understand the importance of an entry level role. It would provide me with strong experience within the industry, as well as the ability to connect with other artists and meet some great people along the way.

Tell us an achievement you're proud of.

An achievement I am proud of outside of VFX is my pursuit of a professional career in electronic sports. A large amount of time was dedicated in following this dream of mine, in which my hard work and efforts paid off, as in due time I was recognised for my skills and was part of some of the prestigious events in the industry.

If you woke up in a in a videogame, what would your special ability be?

The ability to manipulate time and space.

Which movie inspired you the most to choose this career path?

Ready Player One - Even though I was already studying VFX at the time, this film made me certain I would like to go into the FX discipline.

What was your crowning moment of your time at Escape?

The awards that were presented to the short-film I worked on during our 3rd Year, 'Joe'.
