Welcome to my page! I'm Aroosa! I am a 3D Animator who specialises in character animation. My interest in storytelling has always motivated me to be an Animator. I draw a lot of inspiration for my work from a variety of books and films, especially in the fantasy genre. Since I have been studying to become an Animator, I have not only been introduced to software's such as Unreal and Nuke, but I have also developed my basic skills in modelling, texturing, and lighting. My passion is to constantly improve and learn new techniques to become ever more skilled and to become more versatile. It is my ambition that, after graduating, I would like to start out as a Junior Animator, and then work my way up to becoming a Lead Animator.

What hobbies do you have?
I love to read! You will find me with a book most of the time if I am not animating or working. I love diving into new adventures, especially fantasy and contemporary. I use books as a means of not only staying relaxed but also expanding my creative abilities, they allow me to think outside the box. Moreover, I also enjoy drawing and would like to explore my drawing abilities and improve them.
What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?
My biggest strength is my adaptability. I love being a help towards the group and pushing the project forward. I like to think that every great challenge is a step closer to unlocking new skills and experiences. My weakness is taking too much work than I can handle leading to an inevitable burn out.
What job position would excite you the most to start your career with?
A Junior Animator position! I would love to learn new skills and enhance the skills I already have, but to also make new connections with talented Artists who have had years of industry experience. The position of Junior Animator would enable me to push myself further in the creative industry and would provide a good, solid base from which to build my career.
Would you rather be a wizard, jedi or superhero and why?
I would definitely be a Jedi! This is not because of my great love for Star Wars, but because of how the Jedi code resonates with me, like being passive, calm and at peace, and having the understanding of the consequences of a negative demeaner. The idea of "doing" instead of "trying", this mentality has allowed me to have a great deal of good experiences, as well as afforded me other opportunities, and allowed me to become a better Artist.
If your life was a movie what would it be and why?
If my life was a movie it would definitely be 'Beauty and the Beast'. Not only due to Belle's love for books and her falling in love with fictional characters that are a reflection of my own, but also because, being among the quiet I am inclined to observe the people around me and to understand their personalities, where I attribute greater value to their inner characteristics than their external ones.
What was your crowning moment of your time at Escape?
In my overall view, the most crowning part of my experience at Escape Studios is to see where I am now, and to see how much I have improved from where I began. I am certain that year one Aroosa, without any artistic background, would have never imagined that in her wildest dreams she would be able to animate and be a part of multiple award winning short films.
