I am an FX Artist who is enthusiastic about VFX in general, especially simulations. While improving my FX skill, I also learned other essential skills such as modelling and texturing, giving me a better understanding of the pipeline. After graduating I would like to work in a place where I can learn and expand my knowledge even more.

Describe yourself in 5 words.

Team player, patient, motivated, honest and determined.

What three things would you take to a desert island and why?

I would take Bear Grylls to provide food, a LifeStraw to get drinkable water and Tom Hanks since he already escaped a deserted island.

What job position would excite you the most to start your career with?

I would love to be a Junior FX Artist, so that I would be able to improve my skills in FX. It would be the perfect entry level job to set me on my career path.

Tell us an achievement you're proud of.

One of my biggest achievements that I'm proud of is getting accepted into Escape Studios, I had little artistic skills, having studied computer science in High School. But I still tried and managed to get in. This taught me that if you really want something you must work hard for it and to believe in yourself.

Would you rather be a wizard, jedi or superhero and why?

I would pick Jedi. The concept behind Jedis is just fascinating and motivating. They always fight to keep people safe and never to attack others. Plus lightsabers!

Describe your favourite VFX sequence.

My favourite VFX sequence would be the fighting scene in 'Doctor Strange' where they enter the mirror dimension in New York. There are so many different types of VFX going on in that scene, especially the kaleidoscope effects on the environment. That just made the entire fight scene so much better.

What was your crowning moment of your time at Escape?

It would be completing my specialism project as well as working on group projects with like minded people that are passionate about what they do.
