What makes you unique?
My perceptiveness. I am able to point out and work on things that some may not realise and this helps bring more meaning/ life to a piece.
What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?
My biggest strengths are my willpower and confidence to get what I want done. My weaknesses would have to be my drive, sometimes I push myself too hard and want to learn to take things slow and ask for help more
Describe a challenge that you had to overcome in your group projects.
In the last group project at Escape Studios, due to unforeseen circumstances some of my team were absent and I had to step up and pick up more work to hit the deadlines and hand in our assignment.
Which animated movie inspired you the most to choose this career path and why?
A cliche answer but 'Spider-Verse' literally came at the perfect time for me to pick my Uni course and dedicate my self not only to animation but the character art used in the concept phase of the movies inception.
Describe your favourite animated sequence.
Probably the fight between Gon and Hisoka in 'Hunter X Hunter (2011)'. The first minute or so they don't talk at all until Gon gets his first hit in, it was the perfect use of pacing, energetic animation and music to make one of the best fights i've seen in any medium.
What was your crowning moment of your time at Escape?
Being able to work on "Shimmer" at the start of my third year, it was such a fun expereince and everyone I worked with was very kind and polite. All that with it being the most acclaimed short film i've worked on made it such a blast to see something i'm really proud of come to life.
