GET TO KNOW FRANKIE

Describe yourself in 5 words.

Trustworthy, determined, perfectionist, and hard-working!

What hobbies do you have?

I enjoy photography, cars, and competing in eSports. Ever since I was young, I've loved taking photographs. This passion slowly grew as gear got better and my knowledge got stronger. My passion for cars is also very strong, growing up working in a family-run garage slowly learning about how cars work. I am naturally a very competitive person, always striving to be my best self. I enjoy playing video games to the highest level and competing against some of the best players in the world.

What job position would excite you the most to start your career with?

Working as a Junior Environment Artist is what I'm aiming to start my career off in visual effects. Starting off slow and gradually working my way up.

Tell us an achievement you're proud of.

Winning 'Best VFX' on our short film "Baking Love" at the Art film awards, London international Monthly Film Festival, and Onyko Films Awards.

Would you rather be a wizard, jedi or superhero and why?

100% would choose Jedi. Growing up watching Star Wars on repeat. It was the most memorable part of my childhood and my love for Star Wars hasn't faded one bit.

Describe your favourite VFX sequence.

One of my most memorable VFX shots was the 'Holdo Maneuver'. Where Admiral Holdo rammed her Cruiser into the Supremacy. Everything from the composition, to lighting, to effects and most importantly sound, tied the shot together and stands as my favourite VFX shot of all time.

What was your crowning moment of your time at Escape?

Meeting all the talented artists and friends along the way!
