If you were an animal, which one would you be and why?
I would be a dog because I love being around other people. Much like a dog, I’m happiest when I get to engage with groups and I enjoy supporting those around me.
What three things would you take to a desert island and why?
An endless supply of drinking water because it is essential for survival.
A magnifying glass or a mirror to start a fire, feel warm and be able to cook.
A Swiss army knife to prepare food, protect ourselves and build a shelter.
What job position would excite you the most to start your career with?
I would love to be a Junior Animator at the start of my career. I've always had a passion for acting and performing, and creating different scenarios with either a character or a creature. This is why I love animation, it allows me to use my imagination to create a fun or emotional piece of content and being able to bring emotion to the audience.
Tell us an achievement you're proud of.
One of my proudest achievements is my short film 'A Long Way Home'. I took the film from a simple storyboard concept to a full CGI short film, going through the animation pipeline. Directing 'A Long Way Home' has taught me a lot about being a good leader and keeping a positive attitude even in challenging situations and how to manage a team.
Which animated movie inspired you the most to choose this career path and why?
The minions, inspired me the most to choose this career path because how the characters came to life with their personalities which made study animation.
If your life was a movie what would it be and why?
My life is like "Toy Story 1, 2, 3 and 4". I relate to this movie because of how the characters work together as a team to reach their end goal. I have always been involved in a team, whether its a part-time job or education or even a sport team, so supporting the people in team helps everyone achieve the goal at the end.
What was your crowning moment of your time at Escape?
Directing my first short Film 'A Long Way Home'.
