Hi, I'm Joshua Fernandez. I specialised in 2D Compositing at Escape Studios. I have a background in portrait photography and am pursuing a career as a Compositor in the VFX industry. In the next couple of years, I plan to work as a Compositor or Roto/Prep Artist in a VFX studio. In the long term I have an ambition to direct VFX commercials for variety of clients producing short form branded creative videos.

Having lead roles in multiple VFX projects and being in charge of social media content of up and coming clothing brands.
Describe your favourite VFX sequence.
The 'Bladerunner 2049' desert sequence had an amazing composition and grading to really sell the environment to the viewer.
If your life was a movie what would it be?
Robots', all my clothes are hand-me-downs.
What was your crowning moment of your time at Escape?
Working as a Director on the final project of the third year.
