A creative, curious and communicative computer animation student from Poland. I am passionate about video games and film, recently being inspired by pastel and cel shaded design. Additionally, I enjoy working on short films for my family to enjoy. Currently, I have been learning more about rigging to branch out and expand my knowledge of the 3D space. I would like to pursue a career in gameplay animation however I would be happy to start a career as a Junior Animator or Runner.

What are your hobbies and interests?

I highly enjoy listening to music and discovering new sounds while engrossing myself in story-based games. Outside of the technical world, I enjoy a good book, a nature hike or even a walk around town.

If you were an animal, which one would you be? and why?

I would be a monkey. In the animal kingdom, they are very good at problem-solving and I feel that I am good at contributing an alternate point of view to fix an issue in a team setting.

What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?

I feel that I am very adaptable as I can take changes in responsibility quickly. However, with this comes the danger of not fully understanding certain software. For example, I had to quickly learn to how to use Substance Painter to re-texture a dragon. Initially clueless, after completing this task, I now understand the software better.

Tell us an achievement you're proud of.

During the production of my last group project in the third year, our producer was hospitalized. We needed someone to pick up this role to keep the project on track. I found that I could take on this responsibility, which I had never done before, whilst still meeting the targets of my original role.

Would you rather be a wizard, Jedi or superhero? and why?

I would rather be a wizard because I feel that there are a lot less limitations than being a Jedi or a superhero, while your ability grows with how much you’re willing to practice and try different things.

If your life was a movie what would it be?

It would be 'Brother Bear' because I believe that people grow with age and I am in a constant pursuit of personal growth, like the character of Kenai who understands himself far better throughout the story. Also, I feel that I am very family orientated.

What was your crowning moment of your time at Escape?

For my 3rd year specialism, I went through the entire pipeline from character modelling, texturing and rigging to animating and rendering. Considering this is a new area for me, I did not think I would be able to achieve this simply through research and problem solving.
