I am an aspiring Material Artist who focuses on creating my own materials through Substance Designer. I enjoy the process of creating each material by hand and I believe this is important to retain the artistic touch within my work. I have 5 years of experience in Maya and 2 years of experience in Substance Designer and Unreal Engine. I am always open to learning new software and techniques.

What hobbies do you have?

Gaming, road-trips and travelling.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years I see myself as a successful Material Artist, possibly in a Senior role.

What job position would excite you the most to start your career with?

I would love to start my career as a Junior Material Artist as it is what I am really passionate about.

Would you rather be a wizard, jedi or superhero and why?

I would rather be a Wizard because I would be able to learn about different spells from old spell books. I'd also be able to further my knowledge about the world around me and the magical creatures that inhabit it.

What video game character best embodies you and why?

Mercy from 'Overwatch' best embodies me because I am a team player and enjoy supporting others.

What was your crowning moment of your time at Escape?

My crowning moment at Escape Studios was when I found out about Substance Designer. Using Nuke for the first time, I found out about node based systems and that I really enjoyed this new way of working. I then discovered Substance Designer which I instantly fell in love with.
