I am Eddie, a young 3D Artist eager to learn as much as I can to develop my skills and create beautiful work. I'm very passionate about video games and I like to dive deep into the thinking of the game studios and what made them deliver the type of game they did. I would love to start a career as a 3D Artist so I can create beautiful assets to create a story rich environment. Then I would like to delve into some more story writing, character development and hopefully character art too within the near future.

What hobbies do you have?

I like to customise clothes and shoes, play games and listen to music whilst also trying to critique and analyse them to understand them on a deeper level.

If you were an animal, which one would you be and why?

I used to climb and do parkour like a monkey when I was little so I guess I would be a Chimpanzee. That way I can be as free as I want and enjoy living a life of adventures between trees. (And plus only a few more years and I'd be human again :) )

What job position would excite you the most to start your career with?

Weapon Artist, as it is what I am best at currently and it is also my favourite subject to work on as the weapons allows plenty of creativity, I find thinking of the mechanics fun.

Tell us an achievement you're proud of.

Shattering the teachers expectations and finishing my project well before the deadline, despite my ambitious idea. While everyone was stressing, I was having much fun.

Which game inspired you the most to choose this career path and why/how?

I can't say there was a particular game that made me choose this career, but I can say that my childhood game, Counter-Strike 1.6, has made me realise how important some things can be. The nostalgic feeling for the gun assets because of that game have shaped me to pursue this career. Some of the weapons from that game are very iconic and are so memorable that I want to create something that would give the same impression.

What video game character best embodies you and why?

Zer0 from Borderlands 2, a man of few words who can convey emotion without a face. Quickly dashes to the target and strikes with precision.

What was your crowning moment of your time at Escape?

That time I was able to use everything I had learnt up to that point and was able to demonstrate it through making a complex idea come to life in a short amount of time. This gave the tutors a lot of faith in me to complete such a task.
