A 3D Environment Artist with a love of high detailed and immersive environments that tell stories. Eager to learn as much as I can, I am looking to start in the industry as a Junior Environment Artist at a studio where I can continue developing my skills and pushing myself to develop as an artist.

What hobbies do you have?

I enjoy sculpting in my free time. It’s fun to be creative with shapes and forms without having to worry about being overly technical and helps to boost my abilities as an artist.

What makes you unique?

With a background in photography I have a good eye for composition and lighting, which helps me a lot when creating engaging environments in 3D.

What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?

I think my biggest strength is an artistic eye, I can usually recognize when something looks "off" and can fix it or ask for feedback on these specific areas.

My weakness is sometimes being a bit forgetful, so I often note things down to help me with this.

What job position would excite you the most to start your career with?

I would love to start my career with a Junior Environment Artist position that allows me to grow and develop my skills as an artist and professional.

Which movie or game inspired you the most to choose this career path and why?

I think my biggest inspiration when starting out in environment art was "Bloodborne". I love the way this game combines organic and man-made environments and, as a lover of horror, I find the atmosphere amazing.

If you woke up in a in a videogame, what would your special ability be?

I always enjoy playing "Tank" roles in games, so something like a large shield I could use to protect others would work for me.

What was your crowning moment of your time at Escape?

Definitely helping out teaching Unreal Engine as a Studio Assistant for the "Summer of Unreal" in partnership with Epic Games. It was great to see all the students develop their skills in Unreal over the course and I met some really cool people!
