My name is Zac Meddah and I'm a 21 year old student, based in London. I thoroughly enjoy being active and spending time with others, particularly doing parkour and skateboarding. I additionally enjoy creating 3D game environments, though recently have developed a strong passion for cinematics, where I'd like to start a career as a Capture Artist.

Gaming, parkour, skateboarding, as well as devising stories and creating cinematics in my own time!
Tell us an achievement you're proud of.
Around 6 months ago, I entered an artwork competition being held by a game called SCP: Secret Lab. Despite the short timeframe, I managed to produce a 60 second render made in Unreal Engine, imagining a more realistic version of the game. It was very challenging, yet enjoyable, as I worked on all aspects of the project - from the initial concept to the editing process, whilst making almost everything from scratch. Though I didn't win, I personally felt like I had achieved a piece of work that I was proud of!
Describe a challenge that you had to overcome in your group projects.
In my latest group project, none of our team members were dedicated Lighting Artists. Myself, alongside another team member, took up the lighting job. There were many hurdles and challenges as we attempted to fill up a very large space with only one main source of lighting, that being a hole in the ceiling. Through the assistance of our tutors, as well as speaking to other Lighting Artists, we eventually were able to attain a good quality of lighting that we thought fit the scene perfectly. Very much a rewarding feeling!
Would you rather be a wizard, jedi or superhero and why?
A superhero! There are no limits to power level 😎.
If you woke up in a in a videogame, what would your special ability be and why?
To be able to wake up in real life as well. That way I can experience the joys of reality and the limitless freedom of Video Games!
What was your crowning moment of your time at Escape?
During a Freshers event, there was a circle pit around for people to dance. Needless to say, I stole the show by doing a front flip and walking off 😎
