Hi there, My name is Henry and I am a passionate Visual Effects for Games Student! I would like a career in Games where I can make effects, large and small for fun, creative projects.

GET TO KNOW HENRY

What hobbies do you have?

I love Dungeons & Dragons, as well as playing games. A few favorites of mine are Civilization VI, Open Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 and League of Legends. I think that I like the strategy side of these games, and I feel impactful when I make a real difference in the scenarios they present.

If you were an animal, which one would you be and why?

I would be a Bear, cause I'm big, I kind of lumber around and I could sleep for half a year if I wanted to. But also, I think that Bears have a certain cunning to them - which we share, as well as being able to stand up to problems when they arise.

What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?

I think my biggest strength is my ability to work well with others and take on responsibility within a group, as well as being able to aid others if requested. I think on the other hand, my biggest weakness is that I am a bit of a slow learner, and it takes me time to get my rhythm going, but once I do, I gain confidence quickly, and can become a tour de force in solving problems and creating assets.

Tell us an achievement you're proud of.

I am proud of the fact that I have been a Dungeon Master for my Dungeons & Dragons group for almost 2 years, where I have been able to develop scenarios for teambuilding, collaborative problem solving and just fun really. I think that amongst us, we have overcome a lot and I am really proud to have facilitated that process.

Would you rather be a wizard, jedi or superhero and why?

A wizard most certainly, specifically either a Dunamancy or Chronurgy magic, so I can rule space and time!

If you woke up in a in a videogame, what would your special ability be and why?

Kung Fu Panda, because no one, not even me, thought I'd get this far, but here I am, living my best life.

What was your crowning moment of your time at Escape?

Honestly, any time a teacher complimented my work, each and every one is a core memory which has pushed me to be a better man than the last.
