Hello, my name is Sandeep. I am a Master’s student, avid reader, baker and nature lover. I am passionate about managing projects and bringing ideas to life. Whether it’s making a film, an advertisement or a sesame bagel, I see things through from beginning to end. I am interested in the fields of Production or 3D Modelling for my future career. Producing plays to my strengths in management and accountability, while modelling sparks my creativity, sculpting characters, creatures and structures that fascinate me.

Describe yourself in 5 words.

Tactful, Responsible, Empathetic, Ambitious and Detail Orientated.

If you were an animal, which one would you be? and why?

If I were an animal, I’d be a bird because I admire their freedom and I tend to work with a bird’s eye view perspective, seeing the big picture and the best direction to take me there.

Describe a challenge that you had to overcome in your group projects.

Taking on three projects simultaneously proved a challenge, juggling the varying commitments of team members. Leading communication, I made decisions about where their skillsets were most needed and organised schedules with buffers that meant deadlines could be met.

Would you rather be a wizard, Jedi or superhero? and why?

Wizards are resourceful individuals that always have a passion to learn and help others. Growing up I heard a story about a wizard who helped his town through herbs and medicine. Helping people is what I've always been taught and this is reflective of who I am.

What was your crowning moment of your time at Escape?

It was in the making of "The March of the Potguins". I worked with amazingly talented members and friends in making a story about the journey back to their child and all the obstacles that they faced. The icing on top was the awards it won in the various film festivals.
